The Canon 5D and 7D create exceptional images, but they’re only useful if they’re in focus, and that requires proper follow focus systems, lenses that allow for repeatable focus, a mattebox so that you can add filters to help reduce aliasing and control that depth of field, a monitor that lets you see all this, and a way to power all this up without multiple power sources and only a few cables.
